Fictional Matter: morphologic shifts |
Through my artwork, I explore scientific processes, human biology and behavior, these are my "musings." In Fictional Matter: Morphologic Shifts, I investigate the microscopic world of corpuscles, "small floating bodies," placing them in a newly abstracted environment.
Images were extracted from the title, Corpuscles. I removed them from their intended reference and reintegrated them as shifting elemental creatures in a constructed microcosm à la a Container Corporation of America style. |

They are constructed from refuse boxes that have been deconstructed, printed, and reassembled. Layered values push and pull between revelation and obscurity.
These abstraction are an expression of the human mind reflecting the creative response and the desire for aesthetic balance. Its basic formula is the construction of the whole from the individuality of its elements. |
