Beauties and the Beast
Digital scans capture the photographic instance interrupted and paused by an intentional tremor. IT, defined as rhythmic, oscillatory, and high amplitude during a directed and purposeful movement, worsens before reaching the target. The resulting images shift and adapt for the scan duration. Beauties and the Beast records the beautiful and simultaneously disturbing effects of our aging human physicality.
